2018, as life goes, was up and down. The end of one relationship brought a period of introspection I haven’t always had time for and I was able to really take the opportunity to look at my life. To decide who and where I wanted to be. I made one major move, and as the year ends I will be making another because I’ve bought my first home (and hopefully my last)! A little 5-acre farm away from all of the bustle of the city, near a town on Lake Superior that I love to go hiking in. So I look forward to the fresh air and many explorations to come.
If I learned anything in 2018 it is to always follow my heart and to be honest even when it’s scary. It hasn’t always been easy but 2018 was one of my best years yet. Going into 2019 I have so much more to be excited for. So in the spirit of the season – Happy New Year friends. Be good to yourself and hold the ones that love you close because every day is a new opportunity to get that much closer to your dreams.
